The Monte Rule
For the 2016-2017 season, thinking of implementing the "Monte Rule". With priceless pitching numbers and an obvious mental block, the league is concerned that Our Monte will suffer too much stress on the mound. For the health of Monte and his future teammates.... looking at the Monte rule. The team that selects Monte, has the option of getting a sub when they only have 3 players (including Monte) available for a game. That "sub" would replace Monte in the 3 inning rotation and would bat in the #4 spot. Monte can catch the ball and he can hit the ball (sometimes) but 28 walks in 2.33 innings. Curious to see where Monte would go in the draft with the "Monte Rule" in effect. Please vote and share your feelings.
2/7/16 Update - The Monte Rule has been eliminated from consideration. Monte pitched a shutout inning and earned the win this past week.

Hi, I'm Mike Sidoti. Like my sweater? My friends and I from the 1992 Baseball Team would like to say thank you for inducted us into the Sports Hall of Fame. Our team was almost as good as the "20x Times State Champs" wiffle ball team (Sidoti, Algozzino, Luzon, Becker). Thank you.
