MANAGER & COACH CODE OF CONDUCT

  • I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for all children participating in youth sports by following this Code of Conduct.

  • I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my players ahead of any personal desire to win.

  • I will treat each player as an individual, remembering the large range of emotional and physical development for the same age group.

  • I will do my best to provide a safe playing situation for my players.

  • I will promise to review and practice the basic first aid principles needed to treat injuries of my players.

  • I will do my best to provide practices that are fun and challenging for all of my players.

  • I will lead by example in demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship to all my players.

  • I will be knowledgeable in the rules of Little League Baseball and I will teach these rules to my players.

  • I will do my very best to use those coaching techniques appropriate for each of the skills that I teach.

  • I will remember that I am a youth baseball coach and that the game is for children and not for adults.

The Little League Parent/Volunteer Pledge              
    I will teach all children to play fair and do their best
    I will positively support all managers, coaches and players
    I will respect the decisions of the umpires
    I will praise a good effort despite the outcome of the game

GENTLY USED BASEBALL GEAR NEEDED

MILL is seeking donations of gently used baseball gear items to include bats, gloves, helmets, cleats, pants, etc. that are still in useable condition.  All donated items will be used for registered MILL players who have a need for baseball gear.  Donated items can be brought to any concession during games beginning March 17 - April 4.

SPRING 2015 UNIFORMS

Spring 2015 sample uniforms are now available at our registration events & will also be available during try-outs.  If you've already registered & want to check out the samples, please stop in the MILA Clubhouse during an upcoming registration event or during try-outs to verify your size.  Uniform sizes can not be changed once our league's order has been placed.

Why are players required to try-out?

All players registering for the Minor II, Minor I & Majors divisions of play are required to attend try-outs.  The try-out process allows managers & coaches to evaluate player's skill level & experience to ensure safety & success of all players.
