The LBA is pleased to announce the rosters for the 2013 All Star tournament teams.  This year, we are fielding a U12 and U10 team.  For those making the team, congratulations.  For those who did not, we greatly appreciate your efforts and interest; stay posted, as the LBA may form a Summer Skills program as we did last summer for those players interested in advancing their skills.

The calendar has been updated with all games for all divisions.  Teams have all been entered, named by sponsor.  Games have a name that includes the division and sponsor name.  Each game also includes a more lengthly description that includes the manager's name.  Upcoming games can be viewed in a few different way.  The entire calendar can be seen by clicking on the "Events" link in the navigation bar (on the left side of the page).  With this monthly calendar type view, you can include or exclude divisions by checking or unchecking the check boxes below the calendar output.  A list of upcoming games for a team can be viewed by clicking on the "Teams" link in the navigation bar, and then clicking on the individual team's link.  A list of upcoming games for a division can be viewed by clicking on the "Schedules" link in the navigation bar.  When producing a listing for an individual team, the colors team's color should appear throughout the page.

Games also have a link where you can view the game description, location and other details.  Locations should link to directions or a link that leads to a map location so you can see where the field is.  In addition, each division is represented by a different image:  TBall , Rookie , Minors , and Majors .  A list of upcoming and recent games always appears on the home page, down at the bottom (click here).

The LBA will again be continuing the tradition of instructional clinics for the Rookie division. We set up several stations for the players to practice their skills. We have soft toss hitting (into a net), Tee hitting (into the curtain divider), ground ball/throwing, and fly ball/throwing. Wipe the dust off the gloves and come down to get ready for some baseball! Coaches and assistants should attend to help out at the stations.
