With the start of Daylight Savings Time, practice will run later to take advantage of the longer day. Athletes will get off the water at approximately 6:30 PM, and the bus will not be departing until about 7 PM. Adjust pick up times from Langley or the Occoquan accordingly.
There is a bus to practice all days this week. Mrs. Buck is finalizing the list of bus riders for the remainder of the year. By now, carpools should be worked out and transportation needs cleared up. Please let Lynn know by Monday, March 15, if your child was signed up for the bus and is now not riding. The bills for bus riders will go out Wednesday and are due upon receipt. We must all do our part to obey the speed limit at Sandy Run and on Van Thompson on the way to Sandy Run. The speed limit inside Sandy Run Park is 15 MPH. This is strictly enforced. Per the announcement from Jim Short posted earlier this weekend, the park rangers are proposing to take extreme measures to get the point across. I have asked for some clarifications and will share additional information as I get it.
