The High Park Junior Baseball Club is a AAA Junior Rep team comprised of 19-21 year olds and has been operational in High Park for the last 42 seasons and plays out of Christie Pitts.  Anyone interested in trying out or more info can contact Matt MacDonald highparkjuniorbaseball@gmail.com or for any general info on the team can also visit www.highparkjuniorbaseball.ca

 You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.  Each player that’s on the side that’s in, goes out, and when he’s out, he comes in and the next player goes in until he’s out.  When three players are out, the side that’s out comes in and the side that’s been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out.  Sometimes you get players still in and not out.  When both sides have been in and out six times, including the not outs, that’s the end of a Little League game!

In 2013, we had 3 High Park teams and we also played games against the 3 York Baseball teams during the season.
 
We will start Saturday practices in mid April 2014 and get the teams organized. Games will start in early May.

It was a great day at the park.  The All Star games for the Minor and Major divisions were exciting to watch.  The results of the game are:

Minor:  American League defeated the National League 18-14

Major:  National League defeated the American League 8-5
