The Bucks Brown Varsity, formerly the Jaguars JV Squad pictured above, will begin play this August as BYFA begins their 20th Season of football and first as memebers of the Lake Erie Youth Football League. Many of the players pictured above who played last season as 9 and 10 year olds in JV will move together to the Varsity level as the age group has changed at this level from 11, 12 and 13 year olds to 10 and 11 year olds.
With the change the Varsity Squad will have consistency in the first season in the LEYFL. Mike Arena remains as the Head Coach and he will be joined by Assistant Coach Paul Shnepp who returns to coach after not coaching during the 2014 Season. Rounding out the coaches are Assistants Lou Treece and Chris Ricci who will both be in their second seasons after coaching with the Jaguars JV last season. Head Bucks Brown Team Mom Janet Adamsky will also serve as the Brown Varsity Team Mom. We are looking forward to the New Name, New Helmets, New Uniforms and New League!
