The Team Mom is the liaison between their team, their coach and the Dominator organization.  She will work with and carry out activities in assisting the coach as requested.  This position varies by team as directed by the individual coaches. Tasks will involve such things as filling all committee spots for their team, getting volunteers for Dominator Tournament, Soup Supper, etc, tournament gate fees, hotel reservations, tournament t-shirt orders, etc. This position is the true backbone of the team.

Can I get a sponsor to help with expenses?

Posted by Shannon Neill at Jan 20, 2009 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )

Yes.   Players can also obtain sponsorships to help with the cost of player fees.

Sponsorships (or donations) should be made payable to Lincoln Dominators (please make sure the player's name who found the sponsor is noted on the check).  If the sponsor (donor) would like, a letter of confirmation for the donation can be sent.

The Player obtaining the sponsor will receive credit to their player account for 75% of the total amount of the sponsorship.  If multiple players or a team obtians a sponsor, the 75% can be split between multiple player's accounts.

Note:  The final deadline for obtaining sponsors will be March 1, 2009, as banners need to be printed before games begin.

Click on "Become a Sponsor" link on the left navigation bar for benefits to our sponsors and our sponsorship brochure.

Yes, the Dominators offer a variety of fund raising opportunities such as:

-- sale of cookie dough, car wash, poinsettias, etc. (in the fall)

-- work at various events such as State Fair Bingo, concessions for Husker Football, Basketball and Volleyball, etc.

-- raffle ticket sales (near Christmas)

-- soup supper ticket sales and silent auction (early spring)

More information on these fund raising opportunities can be found by clicking on Fund Raising Opportunities on the left navigation bar.

Teams are WELCOME to suggest other fund raising ideas.    Because the Dominators is a non-profit organization, prior to the communication and rollout of any fund raising, all ideas must be presented and aproved by the Board to ensure all reporting and tax obligations are considered and met.
