NCLL NEEDS YOU!

Now more than ever NCLL needs you. We have a number of Board Members transitioning off the board in the next year and we are looking for passionate people like YOU who want to continue and grow the legacy of NCLL.  In addition there are always other ways (in a less official way) to volunteer at NCLL.  Whether you have a few hours a month or all the time in the world... a little effort can make a big difference. Below are just a few opportunities for you to show your support... we encourage you to step up to the plate and find out how you can volunteer.

We specifically need volunteers for the following but as I said there are many board positions and volunteer opportunities available:

Snack Shack Supervisor:  We are looking for people to manage the Snack Shack on weeknights (Mon-Thurs) and Saturday shifts (Morning & Afternoon shifts on Saturday). This includes opening the Snack Shack, prepping the food, training team staff, restocking supplies, and cleaning/closing up. Training is provided.

T
eam Parent Coordinator: work closely with the Booster Team in the coordination of Team Parent packets, giveaways, email notifications, primary point person for Team Parents... perfect for those who prefer “home-based” volunteering.

Opening/Closing Ceremony: help organize and stage the teams for the parade, coordinate entertainment, setup/teardown.

Fundraising: research new opportunities, recordkeeping, budgeting

Event Planner: assist in planning and coordinating NCLL Special Events such as Casino Night, LL Days, Hit-a-thon, etc.

Please keep in mind there are many other ways for you to support NCLL than the few listed above. If you have a special interest or idea… please email one of us to discuss it. No volunteer will be denied!

COMPANY MATCHING SPONSORSHIPS

Many of us work for large companies or corporations who understand the importance and value of non-profit organizations like NCLL. And often times they have a program(s) to help support you and a non-profit of your choice. Programs might include a dollar for dollar contribution match or they might recognize all the countless hours spent volunteering and provide a grant based on the number of hours you volunteer at NCLL. No matter how big or small…every dollar counts!

Please take a moment to check with your Human Resource / Benefits Department and find out if your company will partner with you in supporting NCLL and our kids.

If you have any questions regarding sponsorships, please contact Kristin Moore: zurg-mommy@sbcglobal.net
