Upper Perk Youth Wrestling Open House

Please join us on November 2, 2015 at 6:30pm at the Upper Perk High School for our youth wrestling open house. This is for any parent/wrestler not yet signed-up who is considering the sport and all wrestlers/parents currently registered.

On-site registration will be accepted.

Upper Perkiomen High School

Session 1: Friday Oct. 16th 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Session 2: Saturday Oct. 17th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Session 3: Saturday Oct. 17th 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Avengers Mat Club is proud to bring you Two Time NCAA Division One National Champion Jesse Delgado! Come learn from the one of the best wrestlers in the country. Register before Oct. 1st and the cost is only $125 for all three sessions. After Oct. 1st the price goes up to $150 so sign up today by contacting us at avengersmatclub@gmail.com. WHO: Boys from Kindergarten to 6th Grade
WHAT: The Upper Perkiomen Takedown Club offers instructional and competitive wrestling for residents within the Upper Perkiomen School District. Our club competes in the Inter County Wrestling League and various tournaments throughout the season. This program is set up and intended to feed the Middle School and High School teams with scholar athletes, well rounded in the sport of wrestling.
WHEN: Registration time for all dates is 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Monday, September 21 Wednesday, September 23 Monday, September 28 Wednesday, September 30 Monday, October 5 Wednesday, October 7
WHERE: Upper Perkiomen High School Auxiliary Gym Hallway
COST: PLEASE NOTE TWO CHECKS ARE REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION: ONE FOR REGISTRATION $120.00 AND ONE FOR UNIFORM DEPOSIT $50.00. $100.00 Registration Fee/Wrestler. Registration fee contributes to club sponsored tournaments, wrestling t-shirt, food and awards for wrestlers at end of year banquet, and USA Wrestling membership. $20.00 Lottery Ticket Fundraiser. Each family will receive (4) $5.00 Lottery Tickets to sell. Sell them, keep the Cash and recoup your $20.00. Return date for return portion of ticket TBA. $50.00 Uniform Deposit. Deposit Check will not be cashed and will be returned to you when uniform is turned back in, in same undamaged condition as when you received it.
INSURANCE: All participants must be covered by 24 Hour School Hazard Insurance or by a private health care plan! Your child may not participate if not covered by insurance!

Hello Wrestling Family,

 

 

I wanted to let you know that our annual golf tournament fundraiser, "Bash for Cash", will be held on Saturday October 3 at Macoby Run Golf Course at 8:00am. I have attached forms that describe and give all pertinent information regarding our event.

 

 

The Upper Perk Takedown Club Board Members organize and run this fundraiser, however, we do still need your help! The help we need/require of all parents, coaches, wrestlers and board members is to promote the event.

 

 

How can you help? We are asking that you all distribute 1 sponsorship form w/cover letter and 1 golf registration form w/cover letter to someone or business you know or associate with. We are not asking you to hard sell anyone. Just get 1 of each form w/cover letter into the hands of someone or business you believe is in a position to support our club and this event.

 

 

Our sponsorship program within the golf tournament is what really drives this event and what has made this event a huge success for our club. Last year we had upward of 50 sponsors resulting in over $6000.00 of cash flow for our club. So, if you do not know anyone who plays golf, please focus on getting out the sponsorship form w/cover letter. You may also personally sponsor as I do and many others have done in the past. Just write in company name part of the form how you would like your sponsorship to read. For example, my personal sponsorship reads THE ROZANSKI FAMILY. Also, here are some examples of people/businesses that I have found easy to approach and have a personal connection to: your hairdresser/barber, employer, accountant, financial planner, insurance agent, bank, handyman, mechanic, lawn care/landscaper, organization affiliation, heating/fuel service and etc..
