This event is licensed by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) All participants must have a current AAU membership. AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins. There will be no membership registration available at the meet. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU web site to obtain their membership.  (see handout tab for brochure)

REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEES: Registration and meet entries should be completed on CoachO.com. The deadline for all entries is 9pm, Wednesday, April 12th . There will be NO DAY OF MEET ENTRIES OR CHANGES! Review your online entries carefully and make certain they are correct. All entries made by the deadline should be printed and verified prior to the entry deadline.

Entry fee is $7.00 per athlete. Fees may be paid online or mailed to the address below. Personal Checks will not be accepted. Late entries or any changes requested after the registration deadline (April 12th) will incur an additional $10.00 fee per athlete (total $17 per athlete for new entries). There will be a $25 fee added to any returned checks. Payments can be made online during registration or if mailed, should be postmarked by April 12th to: C. A. There will be a $3 entry fee for all spectators. Children under 6 are free.

CHECK IN: There will be a 1st , 2nd , and Final Call for all events (running and field). All participants MUST check in with the clerk of the course or at the field event ready to compete by the Final Call. Any athlete not checked in by the Final Call, will be scratched from the event. There will be NO exceptions!

WARM-UP AREA: Warm-ups will be on the baseball fields area. No athlete, coach, or spectator is allowed on the infield during the meet unless you are competing. FALSE STARTS: This meet will utilize the 'no false start' rule for Age 15+ division athletes per USATF Rule 302.2(d). Any Age 15+ division athlete who false starts will be disqualified immediately. All other divisions are allowed one false start before disqualification.

EQUIPMENT: Starting blocks will be provided by the meet management. Batons and throwing implements should be brought for usage.

RESULTS: All results will be posted following each event. Live results will also posted at www.AdkinsTrakWest.com.

AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 overall finishers and ribbons to the 4th – 6th finishers.

CONCESSIONS: Snack bar and Meet Merchandise will be available for purchase. Tents will be allowed at the top of the bleachers only on either side of the track, however, you will NOT be allowed to pitch tents

Mt Pleasant Time Trials- 1/2//16

The high school division of CA Track Club opened up the season at the Mt. Pleasant Time Trial. The entire team showed off their hard work from the fall conditioning program.

There were a number of stand out performances on the girls side. In the first event, the hurderlers ran well with KaRa Awakoaiye (12th) with a win in the 60H in 9.11 and Lauren Moore (11th) in 10.03. The 600m saw Tierra Robinson-Jones (10th) win in 1:44.31 with Jasmine Powell in a close second at 1:44.34. The 4x200 of Awakoaiye, Powell (9th), Robinson-Jones, and Moore ran a northern California leading time of 1:43.72. The fastest competitor in the 150mm for CATC was KaRa Awakoaiye and Jourdan Amen (11th) in the 1000.

On the boys side, Victor Flint (12th) was the fastest sprinter from CATC running in the fast heats in the 60m in 7.62 and the 250 in 18.00. In addition, Andy Pike (11th) ran a lifetime best in the 600m in 1:34.10 for 3rd overall. All of the other boys ran lifetime bests in the 150.

Overall, CATC had a great season opener at the Mt. Pleasant Time Trial.

CA Winter T&F Championships Qualifier 1/16/16

The CATC team took another step forward in preparing for the indoor season. The team competed at the CA Winter T&F Championships Qualifier at Dublin High School.

The girls team made progress form the last meet. The performance of the day was Tierra Robinson-Jones (10th)who clocked 8.11 in the 60m for 4th overall and 40.99 in the 300m for 1st overall. In the distance races, Jourdan Amen (11th) had a good opener in the 1500 by winning her heat in 5:07. The jumpers were able to open the season on the run way and competed well against the competition.

An old name in a new place, but no stranger to running, Keith Evans (10th) emerged as the boy performer of the meet for CATC. The sophomore won his heat in the 60m in 7.71 and the 300m in 39.60. He looks to build on his performance during the season. Owen Taffe (11th) a middle distance runner, ran his first 60m race and 10 minutes later ran the 600 race in 1:34.33 for second in his heat. Rich Atthowe (12th) was 4th overall in the SP with a throw of 40’6.50”
