Yalesville Eliminated at the Big League Eastern Regional
Yaleville kicked off play on Saturday July 13h, at the Big League East Regional in Doover Delaware, with a 6 - 0 win over Rhode Island (1-1). On Sunday July 14th, they continued their winning ways, defeating Delaware 6 - 1.
They were 2-0 in the double elimination tournment after play on Sunday and played New Jersey Monday at noon. New Jersey defeated Yalesville 11-1 at the Noontime game on Monday. This pushed Wallingford into the losers bracket and forced them into a 2nd game on Monday at 5:30 PM against Maryland. Maryland defeated Yalesville 7 - 5 in the second game of the day for Yalesville and thus elimination from the East Regional.
Yalesvilles completed a great run this summer, just coming up short the East Regional.
