Hello MAST Families…
This year the MAST Board has instituted new payment policies beginning with the 2010 -2011 Fall /Winter Season. The Club is adding an automatic payment option which will allow you to spread your payments over the length of the swim season. We are also adding a 5% discount to those members who wish to pay their club dues in full at the beginning of the season.
Payment options for new and returning members are listed below. Regardless of which payment option you choose, along with your MAST training fee and Home Meet Fees, the club operational fees, USA Swimming Fee and a volunteer fee of $50 (which will be refunded to you once the volunteer criteria are met) will be built into the total balance.
Auto pay members also have the option of building in estimated Away Meet Fees. All members using the auto pay system will only be required to make a $100 deposit to begin the season.
If at the end of the season your account has unused funds, this amount will be refunded to you in the form of a check or a credit towards your next year’s balance.
Payment Options are as follows:
Returning Members
1.) $250 down and $250 (or remaining balance whichever is greater) due monthly until balance is paid in full. Payments will be due the 20th of the month and should be mailed to the PO Box. This is old method and 2010-2011 will be the last year that this method will be available.
2.) Payment in full (including estimated away meet fees) with a 5% discount.
3.) Automatic monthly payments with only $100 down. The payments will be spread over 10 months
for a year round swimmer and 5 months for a fall/winter season swimmer. If you sign up for year round swimming and switch to fall/winter swimming, your remaining balance will be deducted in full with your February automatic payment. Monthly payments can come from a checking, savings, or credit card account. However, there will be fees for credit card usage.
New Club Members
Options 2 and 3 as listed above are available to you.
Automatic payments will start October 15. Monthly statements will still be sent.
The MAST Board is excited about this new auto pay option and hopes that the lowered $100 deposit
and the ability to spread your fees over the entire season will make payments easier for our members.
Club treasurer Lori Lucas will be on hand at all registration session to help explain options and enroll members in the auto pay system.
See you all at the pool! Go Swimming Eagles!!!
