News and Announcements

Hello Huskie Soccer Players and Families:

We are one week into the season and we have seen a lot of success already. The sophomore and Varsity levels both won the Leyden Invite (3 game series with Leyden, Larkin and Riverside Brookfield) this year. Sophomores went 3 and 0 and Varsity went 2 and 1. This is back to back years for varsity which is a great accomplishment. Also, below is a link to a news article that was written about our conference and Huskie Soccer.

Have a great weekend

Hello all parents and players:

Now that we are just under a month till tryouts I wanted to send out some reminder information.

All this information was provided to the players as well at camp this past week.

For a player to tryout for soccer they must have the following completed;
1. Have an up to date physical on file with the school. . They must have a sports physical (must be updated every year) completed and turned into the AD’s office. There are many Walk-in options for Sports physicals in town. A list of of these can be picked up at the Athletic Department at the high school. Sport physical forms were handed out at camp .

2. A participation form filled out and turned in by hand to the Athletic Department Office. These forms are available at the AD’s office, have been distributed during camp and can be found online at the OPRF website under the athletics section.

If these 2 requirements are not completed prior to tryouts they will not be able to attend tryouts. Please note that the participation form and sports physical must be turned in by hand together to the AD’s office.

As for tryout schedule and further information on what you need for tryouts you can find this outside the AD’s office. Soccer is the green sheet. This was also handed out at camp. I also posted this sheet at www.oprfsoccer.org and it can be found under the documents section. It is named “2017 Boys Tryout Schedule and Criteria”.

Lastly, mid next week I will also post a 2017 tryout plan at the above website under the document section. I highly encourage the players to look through this so they have an idea of what each day of tryouts consist of.

I hope this information is helpful and I look forward to seeing everyone in August.

Hello All:

I am sorry for any confusion but our webpage provider is having technical difficulties with links at the moment, so they seem to be working at times and not at others. I have attached the tryout schedule and criteria under the documents section at the bottom of the main page on oprfsoccer.org.

Thanks
Coach Fried
