TABB Bat Rules for 2012 Season...
TABB Composite Bat rule is still in effect for
2012
2012 Pony Baseball Bat Rules/Summary:
· NO 2 3/4" barrel bats; Banned
· All 2 5/8" barrel bats are approved regardless of of BPF or BBCOR rating (except -3 bats; see note and link from Pony).
· 2 1/4" Barrel bats have BPF Restrictions; see notes/link

Page 15 (new entry) – Rule 8 C (2) Equipment: Only 2-1/4” barrel non-wood bats which are manufactured to achieve a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.15 or less through the life of the bat are approved for play in PONY Baseball divisions. Effective January 1, 2012, all newly manufactured non-wood bats must be stamped “approved for play in PONY Baseball” and stamped with “BPF 1.15” and the year manufactured.
Page 15 (new entry) – Rule 8 C (3) Equipment:
Effective January 1, 2012, all minus (-) 3 bats must be BBCOR certified. The bat which may be wood or non-wood product shall be not more than two and five-eights (2-5/8”) in diameter at the barrel and shall be a smooth implement, from the top of the cap to the top of the knob. All non-wood bats shall meet the Ball-Bat Coefficient of Restitution (BBCOR) testing protocol maintaining the length-to-weight difference of 0.50 limit regardless of length. All BBCOR approved bats shall be labeled with a silk screen or other permanent certification mark. (NOTE: 2 3/4” bats are prohibited in all PONY sanctioned leagues).

I am very pleased to announce the opening of the registration for the TABB 2012 season. Thank you to all of the returning families for making last year another successful season. If you are new to TABB...welcome. We know you will enjoy your time as a TABB family.
We are offering an early bird registration period that includes a $25 discount if you register and pay your fees by November 1st. The early bird discount is open to everyone...both new and returning TABB families. If you are a T-ball family, the fee is always discounted and will not change. Before November 1st at midnight, the reduced fees will be:
T-Ball: $75
Shetland: $170
Pinto, Mustang & Bronco: $230
These fees do not include the mandatory $50 snack shack deposit that is reflected on the form. As a reminder, this deposit is refunded when you work your shift in the snack shack.
The fees will return to the regular rate as of the morning of November 2nd and will be:
T-ball: $75
Shetland: $195
Pinto, Mustang & Bronco: $255

It will ask for your child's name and birth-date. The form will then load with their information from last year. If any of it has changed (e-mails, cell phone numbers, etc.), please change that information on the form as that will be what your coach sees on his Dash Board once the teams are put together.

For returning families, this should not take more than a few minutes. For new families, it may take a bit more. There are detailed instructions on the form, so please take the time to read the instructions.
