Buchholz Girls City Champs Again!!!! The Boy's take 3rd!!!!
Well, the Lady Cats not only brought their “A” game, they brought it on BIG!!! They defeated their rival canes’ by more than 100 POINTS!! Yesterday’s victory is the culmination of Coach Bostick’s team building skills, the team effort on the part of ALL the swimmers and all the divers, support of the team families, support from our local businesses like the Bagel Bakery, our awesome sponsors and our school administration, specifically Coach Mark Ellard who came out to support and cheer on the team along with his new seven week old son, Brady!
This is TEAM, personified in the community we call Buchholz HS Swimming and Diving!
Our guys have overcome many obstacles on their way to building something great themselves and in a city packed with talent they proved themselves no push overs and willing to “put it all in the pool and leave it all in the pool.” So big ups for them, also!
On a personal note, as a senior parent, I want to thank all of you out there in Bobcat land for the special season that is being built by all of you who support this team with your time and your resources. It means a great deal to our seniors as this will represent a lasting memory for all of them of what it is to be a part of such a wonderful community of people, in this great sporting endeavor, swimming and diving.
