The NCHSHL Playoffs will begin this Sunday, 02/21/10, at Hoover Arena/Ice Land USA. The top 8 teams will be competing in a double-elimination bracket, and points will accumulate in addition to their regular season points. The top four teams after the completion of the playoffs will advance to the Buckeye Cup held in Cincinnati this year in March (Medina is guaranteed birth). Best of luck to all teams!

2009-2010 NCHSHL Award Winners

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2009-2010 NCHSHL AWARD WINNERS!

The players were nominated by their respective coaches and then voted in by all the other head coaches in the league. Coach of the Year was determined by nominations and then votes from the coach's peers.   

     League Top Scorer - Kyle Kreiner, Vikings
     League Best "D" (Defenseman) - Pat Egan, Vikings
     League MVP - Kyle Kreiner, Vikings
     League Goalie - Brennan Allen, Mooney Ursuline
     Coach of the Year - Lou Morocco, Mooney Ursuline
Plaques will be presented at the playoff game on Saturday, 02/27/10. NCHSHL wishes to thank the Cleveland Hockey Booster Club for their contribution toward the purchase of the plaques. 
The Medina Bees placed first after our regular season play. They will be the recipient of the Bob Bailey Memorial Cup at their first league playoff game. Medina also earns automatic birth into the 2010 Buckeye Cup. Congratulations, Medina!
