About RJW Overview
  Ridgewood Junior Wrestling (RJW) is open to Ridgewood school kids from 2nd through 8th grade.  The foundation of wrestling is built on fitness, hard work, commitment, building character, and learning the true meaning of sportsmanship.
  We teach the fundamentals of high school/college (folkstyle) style wrestling, and provide competition appropriate for each child's level

  Our correspondence is primarily through email. It's important that we have your current and correct email address(es) on our distribution list.  This document provides instructions on making sure we have your correct email address.

  This is a resource for wrestlers and their parents who are new to RJW. It provides detailed information about the program, meets, tournaments, practices, and what is expected of our wrestlers.
Your First Saturday Scrimmage Your First Saturday Scrimmage
  Our season starts the first Saturday in January, with scrimmages against other towns each Saturday for seven weeks before tournament season begins. This document describes what to expect at our Saturday scrimmages.

Thank You Everybody!
The Ridgewood Junior Wrestling Season is now over.  While we do still have some kids competing at the state championships and the Mahwah Novice Tournament our official league schedule is complete and we will have no more practice sessions.  I'd like to send a big "Thank You" all of our coaches and parent volunteers for helping to make this a successful season.  And congratulations to all of our young wrestlers who had the courage to take the mat each week in what is the most challenging of sports.

Our team banquet is set for Sunday, April 5th, at 2:00pm and the RHS Campus Center.  If you have not received an invitation please contact Joanne Gerdner or Vivian Martinez.  Their contact information is on the front page of our web site www.ridgewoodwrestling.org
Congratulations Region Medalists!

We sent 21 kids to the league's Region championships in Hackensack.  While Ridgewood did not place any champions, we did manage to take home more medals than any of us can ever remember.  It was definitely and exciting and successful day!
