JOHNSON CITY -- One of the finest seasons in Sullivan Central history continued Tuesday.

Bennett Becker scored two goals in a three-minute span to send the visiting Cougars past Science Hill, 2-1, in a key Big 9 conference affair.
The 'Toppers grabbed the early lead when Alex Weber found the back of the net. Becker answered and short time later the Cougars rode the tending of keeper Sean Behne, who turned back every Science Hill surge and finished with an amazing 32 saves.
Science Hill drops to 6-6-3 on the season while Central improves to 8-7-1 and heads to Kingsport to face regular season champion Dobyns-Bennett on Thursday.
