REFEREE INFORMATION

Newfield Soccer Club utilizies our U-11 travel players and our parents to provide referring services for our Intramural games.  It is through their efforts that we are able to provide a more controlled environment for our children to enjoy the game of soccer.

We welcome the opportunity to add new referees to our organization prior to the Fall and Spring seasons of every year.  New referees will be required to participate in our training program for at least 1-year.  This training program consists of an initial training course and hands-on-training by officiating matches under the supervision of one of our seasoned referees.  At the end of that training period, trainees will be promoted to full referee status and begin to officiate matches in our Midgets & Munchkins Division on their own.

This program provides our children a great opportunity to earn some money and begin to learn the importance of responsibility.  For more information, please feel free to contact us through the club's email.

BACKGROUND CHECKS / RISK MANAGEMENT REGISTRATION

CLICK HERE to go to the state risk management registration site. All travel coaches who wish to hold a pass must register for risk management. All recreational/intramural coaches who wish to coach must also register for risk management. Travel coaches, you must email your registrar the email receipt you receive in order to have your pass released by LIJSL for the season. Intramural coaches, you must email your receipt to the Directos of Coaching. All Newfield Soccer Club coaches, travel and recreational/intramural, will be reimbursed for their $15.00 fee after they hand in their receipts. Recreational/intramural coaches you have to pay with a credit card when you register for Risk Management, just fallow the registration prompts to the end and pay. If you are not registered, you must register. If you do not register for risk management you can not coach a team in any ENY soccer club - therefore you can not coach in Newfield Soccer Club without Risk Management.

We are still having the intramural coaches meeting tonight at 7:30

Coaches Meeting and Spring Season Registration

The Intramural Coaches Meeting will be on March 1 -- 7:30PM at the Hawkins Elementary School cafeteria.

We will have spring registration that night, March 1, before the Intramural Coaches Meeting, and on the field on opening day, Sunday March 13, at the Stagecoach Elementary School league table. 
Cost for just the spring season is $75.

All games scheduled to be played on Sundays at Stagecoach School.

Intramural is presently having late registration.
