Travel team tryouts and training for Fall 2013 / Spring 2014 season

All age groups will be offering a US Club NYCSL/PL team for players interested. Contact our DOC's listed below for more details.
As of this summer 2013 season Lake Grove SC and Newfield SC have officially merged into one club...LGN SC....and are now having their joint tryouts beginning 5/28/13 at the Stagecoach Elementary School fields in Selden.
All LGN teams will be professionally trained and coached by the dedicated and accomplished former Lake Grove and Newfield training staff.
We are looking to use our current teams as the core for new teams at each age group where teams already exist. Many age groups will have several teams available to tryout for at the same location offering several levels of competitiveness at each age.
Please come down and check out our exciting new venture and be a part of our new LGN teams.

* Players trying out must attend at least 2 tryout dates unless otherwise stated at first tryout.
Travel Culture
It is our belief that players must enjoy playing and training to remain interested in the game, and therefore continue to improve as youth soccer players. This does not mean winning is not important. We just feel there are ways to achieve success without sacrificing the enjoyment.
Commit
Participation in a travel program is a commitment of both player and family. For a travel team to be competitive, we believe they should train at least ten months out of the year. LGN Travel teams participate in one or more of the following competitions;
Year round options for all players;
**Now offer US Club team play (NYCSL / PL (formerly known as RPL)
NY cup
Long Island Cup
State Cup
Winter Training and futsal
Summer training/camps
Tournaments
Travel travel teams incurs the costs of a professional training (Various teams differ in commitments), league registration, uniforms, tournaments, and futsal. To assist the team with the costs incurred, we will conduct fundraisers throughout the year.

Risk Management Adult Registration System
Overview
Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association has a Risk Management Policy to: communicate guidelines and related materials that are intended to foster safe experiences, and initiate risk management registration and background checks for adults participating in US Youth Soccer activity through its affiliated member organizations. Therefore adults (18 years and older) participating in ENYYSA sanctioned activities must have a background check.
Background Checks and Clearance to Participate in Soccer Activities
ENYYSA has developed a convenient, cost-effective way for you to fulfill the requirement of a background check if you are an adult participating in ENYYSA activities. This on-line method is available to any adult who can complete ALL of the required information and affirmatively check the agreement box. You must enter your name as it appears on your Social Security Card. If you are unable to complete all of this information, you must refer to the Alternate Process for Background checks at enysoccer.com or by requesting a paper copy from the state office.
