March 29th: Coach's Rutgers Training Course
All coaches are required to complete the Rutgers Coaches Certification Course. The Spring Class will be held Thursday, March 29th at Roosevelt School. The three hour course will start promptly at 6:30pm.
If you have not taken this course please make effort to attend as the state of NJ and the Hawthorne Board of Recreation dictate that anyone coaching any sport must take this course. There is no need to attend if you have already taken this course.
Please plan to arrive at 6:20 pm to receive material and attendence credit.

The Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic (Sports Awareness for Educating Today's Youth) is a three-hour program that meets the "Minimum Standards for Volunteer Coaches Safety Orientation and Training Skills Programs" (N.J.A.C. 5:52) and provides partial civil immunity protection to volunteer coaches under the "Little League Law" (2A:62A-6 et. seq.).
