The SDCLA middle school pre-season meeting is scheduled for Tues January 24 at 6:30PM  to be held at the offices of Senior Aerospace Jet Products at 9106 Balboa Avenue, San Diego 92123. You should be able to park in the front parking lot.  Signs will point the way to the meeting room.  This location is just about midway between Rte 163 and I-15 on Balboa Ave.

 The Oceanside Lacrosse Club is searching for coaches for the upcoming 2017 season for our 3rd-4th grade team and our 7th-8th grade teams. This is a Middle School Program that will be competing in the San Diego County Lacrosse League (SDCLA) for the upcoming 2017 season. The season runs February through May. We have Saturday clinics in January for new players or those who want to try out the sport before making the commitment. Practices for the 3rd-4th grade team are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:15pm until daylight savings and then from 4:30 - 5:45pm. The 7th-8th grade team practices Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30pm until daylight savings and then from 4:30-6:15pm at Lincoln Middle School in Oceanside, CA. The 7th-8th grade team also has Saturday practices in February. Games will be scheduled on Saturdays with an occasional weekday or Sunday game. There is an existing core group of players with lacrosse experience (mostly 7th & 8th graders), and a large number of non-lacrosse athletes ready to give the sport a try.

The consolation round was won by Bishops AI over La Jolla AI 10-9 in OT.
