Welcome to the San Diego County Lacrosse Association (SDCLA) website.

This used to be the main site for Middle School Lacrosse in San Diego County.  Middle School Boys lacrosse is now being managed by the San Diego Youth Lacrosse Association which was formed in January 2018 to manage boys lacrosse for middle school and 1st through 5th grades. The following are the recipients of the 2017 Middle School Division I player awards:

Most Outstanding Player: Dewey Egan, Midfield, Carmel Valley Falcons

Best Attack: Matteo Corona, Poway

Best Midfielder:  Chris Gorzynski, San Marcos

Best Defense: Griffin Dooley, Rancho Bernardo

Best Goalie: Mitch Likins, Mustangs 

Please consider forwarding the following information to the players participating in the All-Star games for the Group A Div I & Div III All-Star games being played June 10 at Cathedral Catholic HS.

By now, players will have received a notification from their team if they have been selected to participate in one of these all-star games.

This event is being hosted by the San Diego Chapter of US Lacrosse.  As a result, all participants must be members of US Lacrosse and they must provide the attached participant waiver at check in with both the player’s and parents signature (click on Handout US Lacrosse Waiver below).   I have provided the US Lacrosse membership numbers to the San Diego Chapter for them to verify but it is a good idea if the player brings his US Lacrosse membership card with him just in case there is an issue that has not been resolved by 6/10.

There is a $1 fee for admission for spectators (except children under 10).

Game times are:

The players should arrive at the field about 45 minutes before game time. There will be a check in area behind the scorer’s table.  The player will get a game jersey that will be returned after the game and then receive an all-star t-shirt.

DIII- La Jolla beat Mustangs 2-0

DI Consolation- East County beat Oceanside 8-7 in OT

DI Championshp- Carmel Valley Falcons beat Mustangs 7-6
