Registration is now open. Standard registration fees will be in effect from November 16, 2009 through January 16, 2010. Late registrations will be accepted until March 1, 2010 (or until divisions are full). The registration fees for each division are:
T-Ball
$100 - Standard (11/16/09 - 1/16/10) $100 - Late (1/17/10 - 3/1/10, or until teams are full) (T-Ball fees are the same, no matter when a player is registered)8-Under, 10-Under, 12-Under, 14-Under & 16-Under*
$150 - Standard (11/16/09 - 1/16/10) $165 - Late (1/17/10 - 3/1/10, or until teams are full)*Playing age is determined by actual age on 12/31/09.(note: a convenience fee will apply to on-line and credit card transactions)
We are still working on our issues with on-line registration, and will hopefully have that active sometime soon. Until then you may still print an application from the web page and mail it in to us (P.O. Box 2388, Elk Grove, CA 95624) with the appropriate registration fees. Or you can attend one of our January walk-in dates.
EGGSL Hosts 2009 NorCal All-Star Tournament
The Elk Grove Girls Softball League will be hosting this year's NorCal All-Star Tournament on July 11-12. Over 50 teams from 20 leagues will be coming to Elk Grove to see which league will claim the bragging rights for their division. Come on out and cheer on the girls from Elk Grove! Brackets to be posted on the NorCal web page.
*** HELP NEEDED ***
It will take a lot of volunteers to help make this the best tournament ever. Assistance will be needed in both field prep and snack bars. If you are available to donate some of your time, be it a few hours or all weekend, please contact Event Coordinator Pam Lozano. (Community Service hours are available for high school students in need.)
The Elk Grove Girls Softball League and the Elk Grove THUNDER travel teams are again running a fireworks booth.
The booth will be in the same location as last year, in the Elk Grove Plaza @ 9738 Elk Grove Florin Rd (about 3 blocks north of Elk Grove Park).

This Saturday: First Annual Blue & Gold Games
The EGGSL is proud to host the inaugural Blue & Gold games. We expect this will become an annual tradition for the league and invite everyone to come out and watch the games this Saturday, June 6.
The 10U Blue & Gold game will be played at 1pm on Saturday, at the White Diamond.
The 12U Blue & Gold game will be played at 3pm on Saturday, at the White Diamond.
