The Team Building Committee has organized an event January 31, 2015 for the JV and Varsity Boys Lacrosse teams. This is a volunteer activity that will help people that have fallen on hard times. It’s a great way for the boys to get together before the start of the season and give to the community.

The boys will be working at the Greater Washington County Food Bank on January 31, 2015 in two shifts: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Eighty Four, Pa. They will be working in the warehouse boxing food for low income elderly. Last year the players made 518 boxes and filled 17 pallets, the goal this year is to make 600 boxes and fill 20 pallets!!!

The boys need to wear jeans and anything CanonMac, no opened toes shoes . Work will include a bonfire behind the warehouse to burn the cardboard, which the boys will also help with.  This is a great opportunity for the boys to serve their community and it’s also something that can be used on their college applications for community service work.
