The Bears Lose Thier Second Game In Conference Play Friday To New Palestine 17-7. New Palestine drew first blood with 11:44 Left inthe first half pat good 7-0. Shelbyville answered with a drive of thier own with 8:39 left in the first half pat good 7-7. New Palestine scored on a 70 yard punt return with 6:54 left in the third quarter pat good 14-7.The final scoring came on a New Palestine 26 yard field goal with 2:02 left in the game. Shelbyville falls to(3-4 overall & 3-2 in the HHC). The Bears play Host To Yorktown Saturday Night October 7th Kickoff is at 7 P.M. The Tournament Draw Is Tuesday At 7P.M. In a matter of days, the athlectic departments at Shelbyville and Waldron high schools have contacted the IHSAA about use of academically ineligible players during current fall sports season.
A unique combination of young and veteran coaches have helped Pat Parks bring success to Shelbyville's football program.
The Shelbyville Golden Bears Defeat Mount Vernon With :02 Seconds Remaining On A 17 Yard Field Goal By Michael Parks 22-21 At The RCA Dome Saturday Afternoon In The Second Game Of HHC At The Dome In The First Game New Palestine Defeats Yorkton 28-14 The Bears 4-2 Overall And 4-0 In The HHC New Palestine Is 5-1 Overall And 4-0 In The HHC That Set Up The Showdown At McKeand Stadium For The Battle Of The Undefeated In The Conference Friday Night Kickoff Is At 7:30 P.M. Shelbyville Wins Homecoming

The Golden Bears defeated Greenfield-Central Cougars 31-14 The bears led from start to finish. The Golden Bears got some help from Pendleton Heights as they defeated Mount Vernon 40-14. The bears are tied with New Palestine for the HHC at 3-0. The bears next opponent is Mount Vernon At The dome. Next Saturday Sept. 23rd@1:45 P.M.
