Millburn Pool Summer Swim Team

Hi everyone, and welcome back to the Millburn Pool Summer Swim Team site!!!

I hope that everyone is fired up and ready to swim fast!!!! Practice has been underway for a couple of days and in less than 24 hours the team will be swimming at Summit!! 

First a disclaimer: You should know that this site is not created by nor is it officially affiliated with Millburn Township, the Millburn Recreation Department, the Millburn Pool or the Millburn Pool Swim team. It was created and is maintained by an enthusiastic swim parent. I aim for 100% accuracy in what I post here, but it is not guaranteed.

If there is ever a discrepancy between what is said here and what you are hearing from the coaches, listen to the coaches!!!

With that boring stuff out of the way, I hope that you are as excited as I am about this summer's team. We had a phenomenal year last year, and only look to be better this year!!

There were some interesting developments in the off season in that the North Caldwell and Fairfield teams (which both had difficulty fielding rosters last year) have been combined. This means that what has been the standard Home and Away meets with the other 4 teams in the division will be somewhat changed. We will stll have home and away meets with East Hanover, Summit and the combined Noth Caldwell/Fairfield team. And at least one "additional" home meet with Summit has been scheduled. 

Results for 5 of the 7 Summer Meets are now posted. I hope to get my hands on the other two sets of results in the not too distant furture. I will post when I do. It's been a really long summer for me. Hope you all had a better one, and best wishes to all for a good Labor Day Weekend and school year! See you next summer!

With only 2 regular season meets left, Millburn ran their record to 5-1 with a solid victory over Fairfield!!! Congrats to all the swimmers!!! Really, I promise I'll be home this weekend and will try to get some updates in.

Millburn avenged their only loss of the season earlier this evening, handing Summit a decisive loss!!! You know the drill. Results when I have  them. At this rate I may have to just borrow the book from Kelly at the end of the season and enter all the results then.
