Pepperdine University’s baseball program started in 1939 and Gail Hopkins was their first player to make it to the Major League level. The Pepperdine Waves have appeared in twenty (20) NCAA Championship Series (1955, 1957, 1960, 1974-1976, 1979, 1982, 1985-1989, 1991-1993, 1995, 1999, 2001 & 2003) during their relatively short baseball history and in 1992 finally won the Series.Did you know that there are thirty (30) former Pepperdine University players who made it to "the show"?

Notable Waves in the Major Leagues include Dan Haren, Noah Lowry, Randy Wolf, Mike Fetters, Chad Kreuter, Patrick Ahearne, Rob Picciolo and Mike Scott
