Players that register are eligible to try out for 1 of 2 travel teams at their age level (13-14-15). Teams play at either the "A" or "B" travel level. Tryouts are conducted each year and players must tryout each year in order to be rostered on a team. Teams at the this level play their regular league games through MYAS Gopher State Baseball League

Only players who attend or will be attending Coon Rapids High School are eligible to play at the Gopher State Traveling Level.

FOR PLAYERS LIVING IN THE CITY OF COON RAPIDS

All players interested in playing in the below Coon Rapids baseball leagues and living within the City of Coon Rapids boundries, OR within the CRHS boundries, are eligible to participate. All players participate in hitting and fielding tryouts. Our teams are selected using a coach draft process. The players are drafted onto teams that play in Competitive League first and then the remaining players are drafted for the Rec League.

NORTH STAR REC LEAGUE

We have a prep league, age 13, and a combined league for ages 14/15. The registration fee includes a uniform the players keep, (shirt, pants, sox, hat).  We utilize the draft system to form teams and player evaluations are held in March/April in conjuntion with the Traveling League. These teams play in the MYAS North Star Rec Baseball league amd they play teams in other cities around Coon Rapids as well as the other CR teams. A typical season is 16-18 games played M-F with CRvsCR games on Sun-Sat. Teams may decide to play in the Rec State Tournament at their own expense. Visit the MYAS website shortcut under links in the right column.
