Children’s Safety There have been reports from referees, board members, and coaches that some players and children have been hanging on the goals and nets. This has been happening during the week at practice and on Saturday’s. Parents and coaches PLEASE let your child and players know the dangers of hanging on the goals. Even though the goals have been anchored to the ground, the goals are very heavy and can tip over easily. There have been several cases of severe injuries and even deaths reported around the country from children hanging on or tipping goals. We want the children to enjoy soccer and have fun, so please help us by letting the children know that the goals and the nets are not to be climbed on, hung on, or played with. Thank You Please be careful on the new concrete squares at the entrances to the fields. The stones keep us and the children out of the mud; however the players wearing their cleats can slip easily and the stones are very slick when wet. So please be careful. NO PARKING !! BASA places cones or other barriers up on Saturday on the side of the school so that NO cars, vans, or trucks park behind the school. This is done for the safety of the children. Please do not move, go around or run over the cones or barriers. There are only 2 exceptions to the rule; 1. If someone is handicapped and need to park close to fields, 2. The Concession Coordinator needs her vehicle in the back to unload items. Please DO NOT Park in the grass during practice or on Saturdays. There are plenty of parking spaces in the front of the school. Please use them!
