Dear Force Parents,

We will have our team meeting this Sunday 11/2 at Columbus Tustin Gym. The practice time for the boys will be from 11:00-1:00 p.m. but the team meeting will be from 11:30-12:30 p.m. We will try to set up a room for the meeting.

Our gym fees for the month of September and October will be $31.00 each. This amount will have Sunday's fees included. We are splitting the practice fees 10 ways as the Matsutsuyu's have offered to help pay as a thank you for letting their son Scott practice with the Force.

Friday 9/12 - Costa Mesa HS $70

Friday 10/10 - Buena Park Boys Club $80

Friday 10/17 - Buena Park Boys Club $80

Sunday 11/2 - Columbus Tustin Gym $88

Again, we understand that there is probably not a time where we can all be available but we had to meet before the first week of November. We will also be filling out the paperwork for the SEYO season on Sunday too. We will post the fee schedule once we have confirmed it with VFW. The forms need to be turned in on Monday 11/10 at the VFW meeting.

Dear Force Parents,

We want to thank all of you for helping out this past weekend at University HS for the VFW Tournament. We appreciate all the help in setting up, commissioning, posting scores, bringing food, serving food, watching our players, cleaning up the gym and many more items. Our guests from San Jose the Ninja's were very grateful for the lunch we provided them on Saturday and had approached me several times and thanked me and the team for the wonderful hospitality. They said that they are looking forward to us visiting them next year at their tournament.

Our boys had another great tournament this weekend, with wins over the San Jose Ninja's, West Covina Sabers and FOR Victory for the Championship. They achieved a great 2008 tournament season with Championships in WLA, Tigers, Dodgers and VFW. Our team has now completed three tournament seasons and two SEYO seasons together combining for a record of 68-9, they should be very proud of all the hard work that they put in each week and should also be thankful to you parents for driving them all around and for all the money you spend to have them practice, attend special clinics, tournament fees, etc.

We would like to have a team meeting this weekend to discuss the tournament season for 2009, the reason is that some of the applications are due at the beginning of November. We are trying to secure a gym on Sunday mid-day as not to interfere with Church or any afternoon activities. We will update this web tonight with the time and location. We would like at least one parent from each family to attend.

We hope you have recovered by now but if not, relax and enjoy the rest of the week. Have fun at Halloween and send us your pictures of the parents that dress up this year so we can post them on our site.

We will now be playing the San Jose Ninjas on Saturday at Noon instead of the Hornets.  Please be sure that your son is at the gym by 11:15.  Wear the RED jersey and bring the white one.

We will be having lunch with the Ninjas immediately following our game.

Dear Force Parents,

We have a new practice schedule for this weekend. We will still have the Friday night practice 10/17 at the Buena Park Boys Club from 7:00-9:00 p.m. but we have cancelled the Saturday practice at Valencia and have moved it to Sunday 10/19 at the Buena Park Boys Club from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

During this Friday's practice we will need to coordinate a few items for the VFW Tournament. Some of the items that need to be discussed are work schedules, snack schedule and lunch committee. The lunch committee will be helping coordinate with Tracie the lunch for our Force team and also the San Jose Ninja team coming this year to our tournament.

Dear Force Parents,

 We have a slight change for practice this Saturday 10/11/08 we will still be at Valencia HS but our time has been moved back to 3:00-4:30 p.m. instead of the 1:30-3:00 p.m.

We will also have practice this Friday 10/10/08 at the Buena Park Boys Club from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

It appears that the FORCE will be playing at University HS in Irvine for the VFW Tournament. When the schedule is ready to be sent out then we will distribute to everyone. We are trying to play our first game at 12:00 noon on Saturday.
