Paul is working on finalizing the new player assignments for the B division players and will be contacting all new players by phone to let them know what team they will be playing for.  

 

Tuesday, 9/27/16 - Blue vs Red - 8:45 PM - North Rink

Wednesday, 9/28/16 - White B vs Green - 10:00 PM - North Rink

There are two game slots for A/B next week, so not everyone will play this or next week. I have the ice slots thru the end of December but I am waiting to hear confirmation from Paul whether or not we have enough players for 6 teams for each division.  Once we confirm the team numbers, I will put together and publish the schedule thru December.

If you are still interesting in playing for either division, please be sure to contact Paul ASAP (216-990-5251)

A division captains, if you haven't checked in with Paul with your roster or a list of returning players, please do so ASAP.

2016-17 warm-ups and tryouts will be held 9/20 & 9/21 on the North rink.  These sessions are open to all new prospective and returning players.  Take this opportunity  to get ready for the season or of you're new this season to be evaluated for team placement!

It's almost that time!  Paul has chosen to start the season a bit later this season.  The tryouts/warm-up sessions are as follows:

Tuesday, September 20, 2016 - 10:00 PM

Wednesday, September 21, 2016 - 10:00 PM

All new players for either the A or B division MUST attend one of the two evaluation sessions.  All players from the A and B divisions that are returning may also attend.  Evaluations are by scrimmage.

The ice fees for the year are identical to last year.  $150 for Cleveland Heights Residents, $235 for Non-Residents

The league fee will only be increasing by $5 for all players. $200 for New Players (new players are considered those that did not play in the league in the 2015-2016 season), $180 for Returning Players

We expect the season to begin the week on 9/26/16 for both divisions.  

We will not be having online registration.  The registration form is attached to this post.  You may print it out and bring it to the rink and pay at the rink or you may mail it to the rink with your payment. You may also bring it to one of the evaluation/warm-up sessions and pay Paul Tomann directly. League and Ice fees are paid separately, so if you are writing a check you'll need to write the check to the City of Cleveland Heights for your ice fee and you'll write your check to CHSHL for your league fee.

What:  2015-2016 CHSHL Hockey Party and Awards

Who:  All 2015-16 CHSHL Players from both the A and B divisions are invited.

Where:  The Tavern Company, 2260 Lee Rd., Cleveland Heights, OH  44118

When:  Wednesday, May 18, 2016.  Begins at 8:00PM 

Please come and join us for the 2015-16 Hockey party and Awards on 5/18 @ the Tavern Company.  Awards will be presented to the Blue and Navy teams for their divisional wins.  Some food and beer will be provided.

Congratulations to the Navy team, which defeated the Gold A team 7-0 to win the 2015-16 A Division Championship.  If anyone from Navy has a photo to post, please email it to me.
