Highland Bulldogs Hockey Club

Three members of the Highland Bulldogs Hocky Club will be represented in the All Star game.  Congratulations to the following seniors:  Travis Anderson, Blake Manville and Derek Sallee! 

The All Star game will be held Tuesday, February 3rd.  The game at the Fairview Heights ice rink will start at 6:50 pm.  

 

Please join us to celebrate Senior Night at the varsity game on Sunday, January 18th.  We will recognize the graduating members of our team:  Blake Bircher, Blake Manville, Travis Anderson and Derek Sallee.

 

 

Congratulations to Blake Bircher, Travis Anderson & Jim Hoffmann for their recent induction into National Honor Society! Membership is based on scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Students who had a cummulative GPA of 4.5 or higher were mailed an application. The application required the student to list co-curricular activities, leadership postitions, community activities, work experience, recognitions & awards. The application was reviewed by a faculty council to determine who would be selected for membership into NHS.

The induction was held on November 5, 2008.   CONGRATULATIONS!

Our team Captain is Jim Hoffmann assisted by Alternate Captains, Travis Anderson and Derek Sallee (not pictured).

Registration is set for August 17th at the Weinheimer Building from 5-7:00 pm. We will be registering from 5-6 and from 6-6:30 will be a brief intro about the team and there will be a question/answer session from 6:30- 7:00 pm. Everyone who is intending to play this year needs to register at this time unless prior arrangements have been made. The cost of the Registration is approximately $35.00 per player. You may not use your account credit towards this fee. All current members do not need to stay for the informational meeting if you so desire. This is more for new players and their families who may have questions prior to our annual kick off meeting.

All new members will need to provide a copy of the players birth certificate and everyone needs a sports physical on file.

Please mark your calendars.  We will have a table set up at the high school during registration and also at Mazzio's on Monday, July 28th, for our pizza fundraiser. If you are not scheduled to work, please come to Mazzio's and eat dinner, tomorrow after 5:00 pm. We receive a portion of the proceeds from all sales after 5:00 pm. Our fundraising efforts are crucial to the health of the club.
