TEAM DINNER INFORMATION
Keys to the Life Center and Social Hall can be picked up in the St. Mary's Rectory from Sue Iott between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.on the day of your dinner.

Dinners should be cooked and ready to serve by 5:15 p.m.

You should have enough food to feed 48 people...31 players, 7 coaches, 8 parents, and 2 bus drivers.

Everything you need to cook with (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) will be in the Life Center or Social Hall.  There is an ice machine for use and Gatorade jugs for the drinks in the Life Center.  If your dinner is in the Social Hall, you may need to borrow some things from the Life Center, but PLEASE be sure to return them.

Things you will need to provide for the dinner besides food are:  plates, silverware, cups, napkins, placemats (if desired), condiments (ketchup, sour cream, butter, salad dressing, etc), and anything else needed to complete your meal.

What is served for dinner is determined by the four sets of parents putting on the dinner.  (Example dinner that will be provided on September 14th:  steak, baked potatoes, salad, green beans, rolls, cake and ice cream.  Past dinners included tacos, mostaccoli/garlic bread/salad, ham/mashed potatoes, chicken/augratin potatoes, turkey/mashed potatoes, etc.)  THOSE BOYS WILL EAT JUST ABOUT ANYTHING!!

It is imperative that everything we use from the Life Center and Social Hall are returned to its proper place after each dinner.  We are required to wash and put away all dishes, wipe all tables, and vacuum the floor if necessary.  Everything must look exactly the way it was when we entered!!

Dinners, for such a large number of people can get expensive...GETTING A SPONSOR FOR YOUR DINNER IS ALSO AN OPTION (See Cheryl Marino if you're interested in how to go about this).

Cheryl Marino and Chery McElvany will be there every Thursday to hang up the banner.  They will be available to help serve if extra hands are needed.

If you have any questions regarding Team Dinner, contact Cheryl Marino (777-6199).  Also, "parent groups" responsible, along with the location of the team dinner for each week, are listed in the CALENDAR (then click on the particular date of the dinner) of this website.

COOKIE INFORMATION
Each week, the parents, families, and friends of the SMCC players and coaches meet in the school parking lot after the game to cheer them on...win or loseThe parents who signed up for cookies are to EACH bring two dozen (homemade or store-bought...doesn't matter) to the school after the game (for a total of six dozen).  Gatorade is provided for the boys and coaches (paid for by the parents in the preseason collection).  Parents responsible can be found by clicking on the game (a box with that infomation will pop up).  A reminder phone call will be made each week to the parents who signed up for that week.

It is encouraged for all parents to come to Touchdown Club on Monday nights following each game (location will be posted on this website each week).  It is a great way to meet the other parents and learn about the game itself!!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE...IT IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED BY THE PLAYERS AND COACHES!
