CROSS COUNTRY POST-SEASON:
- please remember that PE is ongoing through the semester
- you MUST continue to dress out and participate every day…your PE grade depends on it
- no one will be seeing the trainer in the off-season, he is too busy with other sports in season
- 6th period will consist of short runs that will have them back by 2:55
- if you are moving to another sport, you must get the proper card (blue) and have the accepting coach fill it out first, then I will sign it

2ND SEMESTER 6TH PERIOD PE & TRACK:
- if you are not participating in track, you need to let me know
- if you want to be in 6th period for track second semester, you need to start attending track practice NOW
- track practice is held at 3:15 Monday through Thursday on the lower fields (track being resurfaced and is closed for a couple of weeks)
- everyone not in another sport is encouraged to do track…if you don’t, you will fall behind in cross country

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11: Awards Banquet in the LOHS cafeteria at 6:00pm
- it will again be a no-cost potluck, no tickets required
- girls will bring desserts, boys will bring appetizers…let’s do this right, a bag of chips is not an appetizer and a package of Oreo’s is not a dessert. If your dish requires a serving utensil, please provide it.
- no drinks will be provided besides coffee, please bring your own

LOWER LEVELS SHINE AGAIN!!!

2019-10-26 04:07 PDT by Michael Oravets (0 Comments)

Missing runners at every level, the Grizzlies performed very well on a hot-for-late-October Saturday. The CIF course in Riverside was the scene of the Riverside Invitational, probably the 5th invitational held this year on the course, giving everyone a chance to run the CIF course before CIF. This brought schools from all over the Southern Sect... [more]

The varsity teams traveled north to compete in the Monterey Bay Invitational and ran well and had a great trip at the same time. Leaving Thursday at lunch, the first leg took us to San Luis Obispo and the Thursday night farmers market for dinner. Music, shops, and great food…it’s the perfect stop on the way up. The team arrived in Marina aroun... [more]
