OverTime is now in Crystal Lake!

As Overtime still building awareness of our new location in Crystal Lake, we will be extending our on-line enrollment into the month of February. Please note that both our High School and Kids Programs are almost full and we have some very talented new students that have already applied and will begin training in March. Our staff would like to sincerely thank both our parents and the local coaches of the Northwest section for spreading the word about this outstanding new year-round wrestling opportunity. Purler Wrestling

If you are serious about your wrestling, then we believe you should be very particular about where you spend your time training. We are well aware that you have many choices out there to choose from and many coaches willing to offer you coaching advice and training. For most of us, this coaching and training environment will suffice. However, if you are serious about wrestling, then you need more than these programs can off and Purler Wrestling just may be the answer!

Fowler Family Fundraiser

Matmen,

 This is a fundraiser for a local Cary Family.  First Sergeant Andy Fowles is currently serving in Afghanistan with the Illinois National Guard 178th Infantry Regiment and is on leave from his full time job and salary. His wife, Michelle, is at home caring for their 4 young children, the youngest of whom was born 6 weeks early in September so that Michelle could begin treatment for stage III Melanoma.

 As you can imagine, their expenses, especially medical, are monumental. Consequently, the Foxford Friends of the Fowles Family are hosting this fundraiser:

 We are asking each Matman to do some extra work around the house, or otherwise earn a little extra $ for this worthy cause. The club plans to match the amount raised by the wrestlers and we will present a single donation from all the Matmen. Parents are encouraged to additionally donate any amount they wish.

What: Bowling for the Fowles Family

Where: Brunswick Lanes, 21800 N. Rand Rd, Lake Zurich

When: February 21st, 2009

 As part of the event, they will have a general raffle, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle. They are asking for monetary donations or raffle items. Email foxfordfriends@comcast.net to arrange pickup for Items for donation or they can be sent to :

CARY MATMEN WRESTLING CLUB ANNUAL COMMUNITY CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Dear wrestlers & parents, The Cary Matmen W.C. is conducting its annual canned food drive for the Cary Food Pantry at St. Barnabas church in Cary http://cgfoodpantry.org/. We believe as a member of the Matmen your individual responsibility and commitment goes beyond the mat. The one thing that makes your home, family, School, community and the Matmen W.C. great is your willingness to contribute in a positive way. We are asking each and every member of the club to be responsible for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 canned or boxed food items. We ask you not to bring the goods exclusively from your home. But, go through your neighborhood explain what organization your representing and your purpose in requesting 1canned good. By doing this you reach more people in the community to our cause and give them a chance to be involved. Our collection and drop off date will be Saturday December 13th after our morning practice.
