Mississippi Blast 16U Tournament Team
Welcome to the home site of the Mississippi Blast 16U Fast Pitch Softball Team coached by Burney King and assistants Trey Stevens and Steve Usry.
We are a first year 16U Tournament Team looking to gain exposure and experience to advance to the next level of play.
Our mission is: To teach fundamentals of fastpitch softball, exhibit fair play and sportsmanship while competing at the highest level.
From the coaches, players and parents a great big THANK YOU to all our sponsors. Without you we would not be able to accomplish all that we do.

Three Blast Members Make Clarion Ledger All-State Team
Three members of the 16-U Mississippi Blast were selected as members of the Clarion Ledger All-State Fast Pitch Softball Team.
Londen Ladner was selected for the first team and Ashton King and Emily Todd were selected as members of the second team. Congratulations to all three girls!!!
SPRING 2008 HIGH SCHOOL FAST PITCH
Congratulations to Londen Ladner for being selected to the Clarion Ledger All State First Team. The Clarion Ledger states: Londen Ladner - Northwest Rankin, sophomore, IF: batted .530 with 47 RBIs and 39 runs scored while drawing 34 walks to repeat on the All-State Team. "She's the hardest working player I have and I think she's the best hitter in the State" coach Mike Armstrong said.
Congratulations also to Ashton King (St. Andrew's) and Emily Todd (Clinton HS) for being selected to the Clarion Ledger All State Second Team.
