Some New Changes in Registration
For the first time, DSA is going to register online. We are in the process of setting up GotSoccer for our Fall Registration, and all PREVIOUS players with DSA will be able to register online. We are working with the Credit Card Companies, and are hoping to begin online registration on June 1st. For the Fall Season, all First Time registrants will still need to come to the office during Open Registration to register. Check the Calendar Fall 2010 for dates and times.
Another first! If your player will be 3 (three) years old, on or before July 31, 2010, they can play this Fall. We must have a copy of your player's OFFICIAL, Vital Statistic Birth Certificate for Registration.
The location for all DSA Events will be the DSA Offices or Fields located at North Lakes Athletic Complex, 3018 N. Bonnie Brae, Denton, TX 76207. (Behind the softball fields).
FEES
The Fees for Fall 2010 Are:
Early Registration (June 1 thru June 19) - Players ages 4 thru 18 will be $100 -- 3
year olds, $80. Scholarship is $75.
Open Registration (June 20 thru July 10) - Players ages 4 thru 18 will be $105 -- 3
year olds, $80. Scholarship is $75.
If a family registers more than 2 players, a $5 discount will apply for each player
after the first 2. We also have Extend Pay Options, and we accept Visa and
Master Card Debit and Charge Cards.
Scholarship applications available. You will need to bring a copy of your Denton
(or other ISD) Free or Reduced Lunch Letter or Lone Star Card. You can also,
speak with the DSA Treasurer or Scholarship Coordinator for other options. No
other discounts will apply
DSA Boundary
The boundary for the Denton Soccer Association is the Denton ISD. If your player lives in Argyle, Sanger, Krum, or Ponder, it is not necessary to get a release. But, if your player lives within the Denton ISD, they must register with DSA. However, if it is more practical to play in another Association, we release the player to PLAY in another Association. There is a once-a-soccer year cost of $25 to cover NTSSA and Administrative fees. If you are going to register to play in GLASA or Frisco, all you need to do is download the Player Release Form, and take it, along with a copy of the player's birth certificate (if you have not provided a copy), to the GLASA or Frisco Offices and they will begin the process.
Teams are formed by age and Denton ISD/Neighborhood areas. Unless a request to go back to the "Player Pool" or to "Play-Up" is completed, players will be kept on the same team core, even if the coach does not return.
Spring 2010 Late Registration
If you would like to place your player's name on our waiting list:
Call 940-566-2085 and leave all requested information. You will be contacted ONLY if you player can be placed on a roster.
Late Registration is first come, first served. This applies to both returning and new players.
There is a $25 late fee in addition to Registration fees.

If your player will be 4 years old on or before December 31, 2009, they can play this Spring. If this is the first time registering with DSA, we must have a copy of the player's Official Birth Certificate (State, County, or Passport). We can't accept Hospital Birth Certificates, baptism records, etc.
The Boundary for the Denton Soccer Association is the Denton ISD. So, if your player attends or lives within the Denton ISD, they must register with Denton Soccer Association. However, if it is more practical for your player to play in another Association, we will release them to do so. There is a fee of $25, for insurance and Administrative Fees. The "Release From Home Association" Form needs to be submitted once a Soccer Year. (A Soccer Year starts with the Fall Season and ends with the completion of the Spring Season). If your player lives in Krum, Sanger, Aubrey, Argyle, etc., they can register in DSA. There are no home associations in these cities, so players are free to register with any Association. If you live in Corinth or the Lake Dallas Area, but attend Denton ISD Schools, you must have this release.
Once Teams are formed, you will be notified by your Coach. Each Coach determines the practice times and places.
Coaches Meetings will begin the week of February 8, 2010 and finish February 15, 2010. After the completion of the Coaches Meeting, each coach is responsible for notifying their players of team assignments. Players will be contacted by their coach. If you haven't heard from a coach by Friday, 2/19, please contact your AGE Commissioner.
Spring 2010 Season will officially start on February 27, 2010 and should end Mid-May.
