Olathe Rockets 12U '92 ranked 30th in the Nation in the USSSA Power Rankings.

July 11, 2005 Rockets to Play in the USSSA State Tournament Rockets took the field this past Friday day night against the rival KC Storm whom they had beat earlier this season. While winning their first game of double elimination, they didn't go very far in the tournament after being off for a couple of weeks. The Rockets will take the field again during the AFA 14U Nationals in Lawrence, KS.
July 4, 2005 Rockets take the 4th of July off to raise money for the Elite World Series in Orlando, Florida. The 12U Olathe Rockets '92 was busy setting up shop getting ready to sell fireworks for the 4th of July holiday. Coach Ballard was quoted "This is the first year we haven't been involved in a tournament for the holiday, While we would like to be playing, activities like this really help the team pull together as a group away from the fields, plus every dime will help get these families down to Florida and back for the Elite World Series." The Olathe Rockets 12U team was invited to play the USSSA tournament as one of 12 top performing teams in the United States. Each team competed in a qualifying tournament and finished as the Champion. The Rockets have won over 100 game so far this season and are looking for a strong finish for the 2005 season ends and they begin there 1st year of 14 and under.
Help support your Olathe Rockets as they head to the USSSA Elite World Series in Orlando, Florida to be held at the Disney Wide World Sports Complex. Only 12 teams again this year have been invited to attend this showcase of Softball. The event is to be televised at a later date so be sure to let your Olathe Rockets know that you support them!
June 26, 2005 The Girls Qualify for the USSSA Elite World Series hosted at the Disney Wide World Sports Complex. The Olathe Rockets won their berth to the 2005 Elite World Series hosted by USSSA and held at the Disney Wide World Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. Congratulations to all the parents of these super stars and good luck. The Elite World Series invites the top 12 teams throughout the United States who have placed 1st in the NIT Qualifier. Hosted in the hottest ball park in the USA the Elite World Series will be televised at a later date to soon be announced. We know that you represent Kansas City well. Good luck and safe travels to Orlando. As a warm up to the Elite World Series the Olathe Rockets will be playing next in the USSSA State Tournament and then on to the AFA 14U B Nationals which they qualified during the Laser's Fathers Day Classic.
