Field Hockey Victoria is holding its Annual General Meeting on October 12th starting at 6:30 pm at UVic’s McKinnon Gym, room 150.

FHV will be conducting two AGMs to fulfill our legal/administrative requirements as an incorporated society: one to complete the business of the year ending August 31, 2011, which will to transfer business to the newly incorporated Field Hockey Victoria Society; and a second meeting will establish the business incorporated society. We expect these two administrative meetings to last about 30-40 minutes. All members are welcome to attend.

Following the AGM, Field Hockey Victoria would like to invite all field community members to participate in a facilitated strategic planning session.

The aim of the session is to identify common issues in the community and come up with some strategies for working together to improve our sport. Whether it be improving the social aspect of hockey, providing a better gateway for players to transition through the sport, or to better organize the activities in our various groups now.
