Posted by Spokane Youth Hockey on Oct 16 2015 at 01:51PM PDT

Try Hockey For Free Day, presented by KraftHeinz, will be Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Eagles Ice-a-Rena (Rink 1) and is part of Come Play Hockey Month. Try Hockey For Free is a program designed to provide youth hockey associations and local ice hockey rinks a national platform to introduce new kids to hockey. Members of SAYHA are encouraged to have friends and family (ages 4-9) to come try our great sport – for free!

Try Hockey For Free registration is online at Thank you to the Spokane Chiefs, the Spokane Braves and Eagles Ice-a-Rena, for their partnership.

In order to make Try Hockey For Free a success, we are looking for volunteers to assist with pre-event promotions and also the weekend of the event. If you are interested in assisting this weekend (Saturday, October 17th) at the Spokane Chiefs game to hand out flyers, please email Shannon McGehee, SAYHA Sponsorship Coordinator at

If you are a Jr. Mite, Sr. Mite or Squirt coach (or credentialed on-ice volunteer) that would like to assist the weekend of the event, please email Shannon.

Thank you for your support!
