WDYFC Parents;
Thank you to all the parents and kid’s that helped with the fundraiser this year. We have raised just over $6000.00. This will continue to help us purchase new equipment, pay fees, etc.
We had several kid’s put forth a tremendous effort and it is truly appreciated. I wish we could give each of them a prize. Here are the top 4 seller’s and what they have won;

I’m not sure if everyone got the last posting regarding our next fun event. We are going to have an ice cream social at Happy Joe’s in Dyersville on Saturday, October 8th from 1:00 to 5:00. Please let me know if you are able to attend. Please see posting on website for more details.

We had a great time on the float this past weekend at Peosta Fun Days. Thank you to all the kid’s for participating and thank you to Mike Schute for driving the float and setting up and tearing down. Thank you also to Coach Tom Vantiger for riding along and helping tame the crew.
We have our next fun event scheduled. We will have an ice cream social at Happy Joe’s in Dyersville on Saturday, October 8th from 1:00 to 5:00. This is an open house event, so please join us when you can. Iowa Hawkeyes play at Penn State (not sure what time yet). I believe they do have televisions at Happy Joe’s.
Scott Bahl and Sarah Bahl will run a pizza special of a large pizza and pop for $18.00. They will also have a special on ice cream.

Is anyone missing a Tony Romo football jersey? I have one that was turned in and was left at one of the first practices in July at the Old Epworth Elementary.

The 2011 schedules for D1, D2 & D3 have been posted to the documents section at www.wdyouthsports.teampages.com. Most of the teams have practice on Tuesday, so please have apparel, yard sign and seat orders to your coach or me by 08/16.
