On July 28th, 2015 the NY Cosmos announced that the Hicksville American Soccer Club would join as a founding member in the academy affiliate program. The Academy Affiliate program will help set the foundation for the NY Cosmos Academy. Through the Hicksville American Soccer Club the Cosmos will be able to identify local talent and give young player the opportunity to play for the Cosmos team’s academy.
The Hicksville American Soccer Club is proud to be able to offer this opportunity to our players and their families. The club will have direct access to the Cosmos including the first team coaching staff who will share best practice and coaching education. The Cosmos will also provide our club with a presence on their digital channels and promotion at home games, reaching thousands of fans. Real Madrid legend and Cosmos Striker Raúl will join the program as the technical advisor for the club’s youth academy.

The Hicksville Soccer club is proud to announce that former Hicksville Striker, Tim Parker, 21, joins the Vancouver Whitecaps FC after spending four seasons with the St. John's University Red Storm of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Big East Conference.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound center back appeared in 79 of 80 Red Storm matches over the past four seasons, starting all but one of his appearances. Parker finished with four goals, two game-winners, and four assists, while anchoring a back line that posted 30 clean sheets. He also helped lead St. John's to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances (2011-2013) and the 2011 Big East Tournament title.
A native of Hicksville, New York native, Parker earned Big East honors in each of his four seasons with the Red Storm, including first-team honors as a senior and junior. He was also the program's first three-time NSCAA All-Region selection since Chris Wingert (2001-2003).
Parker, who captained the Red Storm this past season, earned a pair of first-team NSCAA All-Region selections to go along with a third-team nod as a senior. Also of note, the defender led St. John's in minutes played in two of his four seasons at the school.
Prior to his collegiate career, Parker was named a second team ESPN RISE All-American and was the Gatorade New York Boys Soccer Player of the Year. He was also a member of the United States U-18 men's national team pool. Tim played for the Hicksville Soccer club until his junior year in high school.

The Developmental Program is for new and experience players looking for some additional weekly training with the HASC Professional Staff Trainers. Boys and
Girls that fall into the U7 and U8 age groups are welcomed to partake in a fun-fi¬lled atmosphere with increased fundamental skills development and more game awareness.
The Developmental Program includes training 1x per week with a professional trainer and occasional training with a volunteer coach. Players in the program will also have a chance to compete in local tournaments and introductory travel leagues. The primary goal of the Developmental Program is to enhance the fundamental individual skills of all participants. Volunteer Coaches are need to assist with administrative responsibilities and positive reinforcement at training sessions. There is a minimal $65 cost to take part in the weekly training.
All payments - are made to the Hicksville American Soccer Club prior to the season.
