1. Click on the "Handouts" link on the left side of this webpage.
2. Go to the bottom of the page and click on the item titled "Rules and Procedures".
3. Click on the By-Laws for the current year.
4. Click on "Download Now". This will open the rules in a PDF reader.
You can now read and print the document.

Illegal Bats
Players using bats that are not approved for slow pitch softball use by the ASA, will be subject to the following penalties:
1. The first time a player is caught using an illegal bat he or she will be declared out. If the illegal bat is discovered, after the batter has hit a ball, all base runners must return to the base they were on when the batter came to the plate
2. The second time a player is caught using an illegal bat he or she will be declared out and suspended for 3 games.
3. The third time a player is caught using an illegal bat he or she will be suspended from the league.
The league reserves the right to waive the ASA rule in the case of certain older, low tech bats that are not deemed to be safety threats.
