Here is a great way to raise money for your team and for our club. If we are able to raise enough money over this year, SOSA can come to the aid of more families that need registration scholarships, continue advertising within our community and even help to renovate our local Colver Roads Park into a SOSA soccer venue!
This raffle is being sponsored by SOSA, Table Rock Soccer Club and Kids Unlimited. This means that a winner will feel very lucky as there will be many tickets sold. So let your salesmen know that the purchase of a raffle ticket can be looked at as a wonderful donation to a very worthy cause… with a chance of winning!
Each ticket is $5 and in return for doing the legwork, your team receives $2.50 per sale… That’s HALF THE MONEY! These proceeds can go towards a pizza party, tournament or whatever you would like… within reason of course.
The winners of the raffle will receive a 1/2 side of beef each. There will be two winners. Those winners will be announced on October 1st.
I hope to get them out to your team (20 per player) to sell as soon as you get your team together and have a confirmed roster.
Please email me with the names of who will be doing the selling and I will assign the tickets so you can pick them up. If you need more tickets, just let me know! -SOSA does not suggest that children sell tickets door to door or in any way ‘alone’ within the community. If you would like to set up a table at a local business, please do, simply let me know so I am aware or can help you in some way.
The team that sells the most tickets will be posted on our website and proclaimed the ‘ultimate fundraisers’! Board members and coaches… that goes for you too!
Ticket stubs and money will need to be returned no later than September 28th!
No ticket may be entered in the drawing without being paid for, and unfortunately, no administrators or coaches may win. (have your neighbor share!)
Remember… this is a great chance to increase our community’s awareness of our organization, so please be courteous, kind and be an ambassador for SOSA and soccer… ‘the beautiful game’!
