Strong point: We return our entire starting attack, so we are confident in the chemistry they have built up. Offensively we seem to be in a much better rhythm than last year.

Biggest concern: We have an ongoing competition for the starting goalie job and are are looking to shore that position up after the departure of CHSAA AA Goalie of the Year Robbie O’Toole’s departure. Pole depth is also an issue we are working through.

Coach speak: “We will have a roster of 37 this season, so the competition at practice has been encouraging thus far,” Goldmann said. “We will rely heavily on the relationships our offensive players have built up from last year, and we will also be looking for contributions from some JV call ups and freshmen. The schedule will be a grind, and we have two defensemen returning off injury. If we stay healthy at the defensive positions we should have a very productive year.”
