This email is to let you know the club resumes on Wed Jan 11 for the start of Term Three.
We have had one response to the call for fencers in Grade 7 to 12 to participate in the Bard and Blade tournament in Stratford on Sat Jan 14. It is a team event in foil (and I know you all started in foil so you can do it). Girls and guys can fence on the same team. You need two fencers from your school to qualify. The third fencer can be from another school. See what you can do to rustle up a team for this. Let me know if you are interested.
Congratulations on Siobhan Drysdale, Madison Archer, and Nathan Roberts for competing in the Gingerbread Classic Cadet tournament in Hamilton in December. All three fencers had several successful bouts as well as the opportunity to go up against some of the top cadet fencers in Canada.
One more week of holidays for most of you and now you have snow to enjoy as well.
