Wednesday April 11 Lucas Siverns’ friend, Sarge, will be bringing his Laser Etching equipment to the Mustang Sword Club. Sarge can etch your name or a graphic onto any metal surface – like Lucas showed March 28. Cost will vary depending on size and complexity of what you want, but should range from $20.00 to $100.00. So bring your swords, bring your helmets, any metal object and make your equipment uniquely yours.

Hi Mustang Fencers and folks,
If you are free on Sunday, April 1, 2012, would you like to come with me to Hamilton for some fun fencing?
The McMaster team is hosting another Fence-a-Thon. I went last year when it was Pirates vs Ninjas and it was a lot of fun.
This year the theme is Ninjas vs Jedi. When you arrive, you will be assigned to be a Ninja or a Jedi. There will be a gym full of pistes and the object of the game is to win as many bouts as you can for your team. You will get to meet a lot of other fencers from clubs in SW Ontario. There will also be matches between top ranked Ninjas and Jedi so you can cheer loud and long for your team.
As well, there will be another gym full of games with Ninja and Jedi themes. It is great fun and I am going again this year.
You are welcome to fence for as long or short a time as you like. There is nerf fencing too for younger sibs and parents to learn a few fencing moves.

We had a super weekend in Kingston at Queen’s University for the Men’s OUA Fencing Championships.
Our Men’s Sabre Team won the silver medal! (see photo for the bling)
Lots of other personal bests too.
