WDYFC Parents;
Our Final Spirit Cup/Bucket orders have been shipped with a scheduled delivery of 10/28/11. I will try to get these sorted and delivered to coaches by Tuesday of next week. If anyone wants to pick up their orders to get them sooner, please let me know. I do have 1 extra set of Bengals cups and several sets of Hawkeye cups that were extras ordered last year. Please let me know if you have someone that might be interested in purchasing these extras.
Please be aware of the following important upcoming dates, especially our WDYFC Academic Achievement Program. Our program is separate from the DIFL Scholar Event.

November 7thDubuque Independent Football League – Scholar Event held at Roosevelt Middle School from 6:30 to 8:30. Those being recognized are Casey Perrenoud, Alex Aitchison, Jeff Theisen, Carter Kluesner, Calvin Harris, Tim Althaus, Nathan Vaske, Devin Ludwig, Drew Daly, Ryan Gasper, Carson Merten and Kaelan Lloyd. Congratulations! DIFL will send out a letter to those that are being recognized. All are welcome to attend and will receive a bag of goodies and are entered into a drawing for a door prize.

November 28thWDYFC Academic Achievement Program – Peosta Community Centre 6:00 to 8:00. If anyone has an item or items they would like to donate as prizes, please let me know as soon as possible. We are a non-profit organization, so any items donated are tax deductible.

I received the Brax Spirit Cups and Buckets today. Coach Petsche and Ludwig orders have been taken and will be delivered. I need a volunteer from Coach Lenton and Drexler to pick up their orders.
I will be working on the rest of the orders on Saturday morning around 8:00 A.M. If anyone is available to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

I just received word today that I should receive shipment of our Brax Spirit cups and buckets tomorrow after 2:30. Would anyone be available to help sort through the orders? I will try to start the process sometime around 4:00. Can I also have 1 volunteer from each team that could pick up your respective team orders and deliver back to your team? I also received word today that WD Youth Football and Cheer will be announced at half time of the Varsity game this Friday. Please e-mail or let your coach know if you plan on attending. All WDYFC kids and coaches wearing their jersey/cheer uniform/coaches polo will have free admission. All others will pay the normal entrance fee.

Thank you to all the parents and kid’s that helped with the fundraiser this year. We have raised just over $6000.00. This will continue to help us purchase new equipment, pay fees, etc.
We had several kid’s put forth a tremendous effort and it is truly appreciated. I wish we could give each of them a prize. Here are the top 4 seller’s and what they have won;
